Fuelza · Last updated 30 August 2026
Fuelza has no accounts and no sign-up. We collect as little as the app needs to work, we never sell data, and we do not use any of it for advertising or tracking.
When you allow location access, the app sends your coordinates (or the route you chose) to our server to find gas stations around that point. The request carries no name, e-mail, phone number or advertising identifier. Coordinates are not stored beyond ordinary short-lived server logs. CarPlay may ask for background ("Always") access so the car screen can show nearby stations when the phone is locked; refusing it does not limit the phone app.
Fuel type, consumption, loyalty cards, custom discounts and favourite stations are stored only on your device (and in your iCloud device backup). They are never uploaded.
If you use Settings → Send us a message, we store the text you wrote, the e-mail address if you chose to give one, and technical details that help us reproduce problems (app version, iOS version, device model, language). We use them only to answer you and improve the app, and delete them once handled or after 12 months.
The app uses Google Firebase Crashlytics (crash reports) and Analytics (anonymous usage counts such as which screens are opened), configured without the advertising identifier. Firebase generates a random installation identifier for this purpose; it is not linked to you, not shared with advertisers and not used for tracking across apps. Google processes this data on our behalf under the Firebase privacy terms. Crash and usage data are retained by Firebase for up to 90 days (crash reports) and 14 months (analytics).
To keep the service free of abuse, the app proves it is a genuine copy of Fuelza on a real Apple device using Apple's App Attest. This produces an opaque per-device key that identifies the installation to our server; it cannot be used to identify you.
Under the GDPR you can ask what we hold about you and have it deleted. Because there are no accounts, the only data we could hold is a message you sent us — write to g42v@me.com and we will remove it. Deleting the app removes all on-device settings.
